The counselors

The counselors have studied education or psychology, and have therapeutic training and long standing professional experience. They regularly participate in supervision and further training.

Stefanie Dornhöfer is a qualified educator and has an additional qualification in systemic counseling. She came to pro familia Mainz in 2012 as a sexual educator and has been working as a couples and sex counselor since 2022.

Dr. Gisela Hilgefort is a qualified psychologist and psychological therapist. She has a psychotherapy qualification in person-centered therapy (GWG) and carried out further training in systemic couples and sexual therapy. She has provided counseling at the pro familia Zentrum Mainz since 2002 – also in English.

Sina Mentges is a qualified educator, has a further qualification in integrative couples and family therapy (M. Kirschenbaum) and carried out further training in systemic couples and sexual therapy. She has provided counseling at the pro familia Zentrum Mainz since 2003.

Benjamin Schick is a qualified educator, has an additional qualification in systemic counseling and carries out further training in systemic therapy. He provides counseling at the pro familia Zentrum Mainz since 2017.
